How can My Bella Sweets design a Custom Cake for my needs?
Think about what would be fun, creative, and really say something about the person who you are getting the cake for. Does he or she play any sports? Musical instruments? What are their hobbies? What is your child's favorite cartoon character or toy? You could match an invitation or someone's favorite trinket. Another way to get inspiration is to google cakes with your theme or desires...for example: Butterfly Fondant Cake or Circus Theme two-tier cake. Save any pictures that inspire you. Anything you can think of, I can possibly make into a cake or sweet treat of your choice!
How do I place an order?
To start the order process, please send an email to kathryndwaters@gmail.com containing all the following information:
- the date of your event
- the occasion/nature of your event (wedding, birthday, etc)
- the event location, delivery address, and delivery time
- how many people you will need to serve
- your daytime phone number
- your email address
- flavors from our flavor list (tasting samples are available by request)
- an idea of what kind of cake design you are looking for
I will contact you to to discuss your order, give you a quote and/or schedule an appointment. I do not have any cakes pre-made for sale, every cake I make is custom made to order from start to finish.
What's your payment policy?
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your order; the remainder is due at least two weeks prior to your event. Your order is not confirmed until we have received back the email contract and 50% non-refundable deposit. Payment can be made by cash, check or credit card (Visa, AmEx, or Mastercard, Discover, and Paypal). My Bella Sweets will send you an secure paypal email invoice for your convenience. Cake orders placed with less than two weeks notice require payment in full at the time of ordering.
If you cancel your order, your balance payment is refundable provided My Bella Sweets is notified at least five (5) business days prior to the event. There is no payment refund on orders canceled within five (5) business days of the event.
Tasting appointments are held for cake orders by request only. Choose up to six flavors from our flavor list to sample. There is a non-refundable deposit required for appointments. The deposit will be deducted from the final cost of your cake order.
Event dates are held for you through the date of your appointment or quote, and five (5) business days afterwards. If we do not receive a signed contract and 50% deposit within five (5) business days of your appointment or quote, your date may become unavailable.
